Our Impact on Zinga Island, Uganda.

We have donated land to plant 664 trees, to guarantee the food security of 300 children, 200 young people and their families, and with this we will be able to capture 16 tons of C02 per year.
We have managed to reduce diseases linked to water consumption by 59%.

ZINGA PROJECT

The school we sponsor (Mount Eagle School, Zinga Island, Uganda) increases its students every year, having exceeded 200 enrolled. Even so, there are still many boys and girls who we want to include.

Nelson Mandela said that education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world, and we want to offer that powerful weapon to the youth of Zinga (Uganda). Because we know that education is vital for a population to prosper and begin to improve as a society in order to provide solutions to adversities, we have launched the Zinga Project. The majority of children on the island of Zinga, Uganda (Lake Victoria), lack opportunities to study, mainly due to economic problems or because their parents have died (in most cases, from HIV). At our school, Mount Eagle School, the number of students continues to increase each year and, although many still have to miss out due to lack of resources, we have been able to enroll close to 200 students so far.

Bioksan has been sponsoring this very genuine project since January 2019, covering the expenses of the teaching staff at Mount Eagle School, to guarantee the education of all these children, which is already generating great changes in the society of Zinga, in the heart of Africa, on the Ugandan coast of Lake Victoria.

BIOKSAN SCHOLARSHIPS

The Bioksan Scholarships finance courses taught by the Community's sports federations, which train young people belonging to the different associations specialized in sports, who work within the scope of "Attention to girls, boys and young people at risk of social exclusion" of the Community from Madrid.

These scholarships are intended to promote the professional training of girls, boys and young people, as part of their personal and professional development, in addition to promoting the associations' projects, guaranteeing their sustainability.

Bioksan has been actively collaborating with these associations since 2018.
