Since January 2019, Bioksan has been sponsoring the Mount Eagle School on Zinga Island, Uganda, transforming the lives of nearly 200 vulnerable children affected by extreme poverty; 70 of them have lost their parents (in most cases due to HIV) and for this reason, they live at the school.
Bioksan provides the annual salaries for the teaching staff and has also installed solar panels, making the school the only place with electricity on the island. By providing a safe and educational environment, Bioksan is building a hopeful future for these children and the community.
